Who is Dr Rapp? Doris J Rapp, MD, F.A.A.A., F. A. A. P., is a
board-certified environmental medical specialist and pedatric
allergist. She is clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at
the State University of New York at Buffalo. The founder of the
Practical Allergy Foundation in Buffalo, Dr. Rapp is a past president
of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine and was an honored
speaker at the First World Conference on Non-Pharmacological therapies
identifying substances that cause illness and behavioral changes in
children & treatment ideas. And her new book "A Toxic Wake Up
Call: Understanding The Cumulative Effects Of Chemical Exposure." Dr
Rapp will be addressing specific reasons why our community needs to be
concerned about aerial spraying.

You may be experiencing common recations to aerial spraying.
640+ people reported symptoms from being sprayed, and many more reacted
without filling out any reports. Many people complained that
their medical physicians refused to report to the county even
though the law requires it. Not knowing how to recognize toxicity
caused by the spray may be part of the problem. It's important to
fill out the forms and report your adverse reactions. Even if

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) want to hear from
you! Warning: Symptoms change over time and persist.
The chemicals take 30-90 days to degrade. If you think you have

Santa Cruz, Monterey, Alameda, SF, Marin and Santa Clara Counties are
all currently under quarantine for the light brown apple moth. If the
CDFA determines that quarantine is not sufficient to
control the LBAM, then that county may have aerial spraying
occur beginning as soon as March 2008. Official notice of
spraying activity may occur as little as 3 weeks ahead of time.
Monterey County was already sprayed twice in 2007 and Santa Cruz County
was sprayed once in 2007. The spraying cycle may continue once
per month for years, until after the last LBAM is found.
